MARK ZUROFF, PRESIDENT

Prior to founding The CFO Consulting Group, Mark spent 17 years as director, treasurer, CFO and COO to private and public companies including Elscint, Faxon, Leesona, and IBM. He led organizations in strategic and business planning, designing and implementing accounting, forecasting and control procedures, and developing plans to return companies to profitability.

He holds a Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and a MBA degree from Boston University. Additionally, he has achieved academic distinction by graduating in the top 5% of both schools and he has been awarded Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Beta Kappa memberships, a research fellowship at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University and a National Science Foundation Award.

Mark is an active member of the Financial Executives Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, the Chief Executives Club of Boston, the Association for Corporate Growth and the Institute of Management Accountants.


CAROL SALLOWAY, PRINCIPAL

Carol has helped many companies develop human resource strategies and programs that are aligned with their business priorities and organizational culture. Her area of HR expertise is in organizational development and reward design.

Prior to co-founding the CFO Consulting Group, Carol was a Senior Consultant and Human Resource Practice Manager for 10 years at a management consulting firm (now Clark Consulting). Her earlier career involved starting up and running a student service organization at Tufts Veterinary School.

She holds a Bachelor's degree from Simmons College and a MBA degree from Boston University with a concentration in Organizational Development. Carol is qualified in Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI), the Leadership Effectiveness Analysis (LEA), the PaperRoom coaching process as well as various assessment instruments and has been trained by the Coaches Training Institute, the Creative Problem Solving Institute and Mediation Works, Inc.

Carol is an active member and Committee Chairperson in the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA). She is also a member of WorldatWork and the Human Resources Leadership Forum (HRLF).
